In honor of ?“La Ruta del Bakalao”(a.k.a La Ruta Destroy / La Ruta)? the biggest clubbing movement history of Spain and one of the most important in Europe.
At the peak of La Ruta del Bakalao, tens of thousands of ravers travelled from the cities to its many surrounding towns and villages to party for a whole weekend non-stop going from venue to venue like Barraca, Chocolate, Espiral, Spook Factory, Puzzle, A.C.T.V and N.O.D.

Bakala was the term used for those young people, who during the 1990s and 2000s identified themselves with disco and dance culture. Especially with musical styles such as Techno, House, Progressive, Trance or Hardcore, which are generally called Electronic Music or Bakalao.
